On Friday, May 5th I will be performing at the Baltimore Humane Society Black Tie and Tails Event celebrating their 96th Anniversary! The Black Tie and Tails is one of the Baltimore Humane Society’s best-attended fundraising events and the region’s only black-tie event where guests are encouraged to bring their pet!

Road Trip time. I’m off to a city far far away though still in our galaxy! I’ll be heading to Boston Massachusetts for some magic and beans or magic beans if I can find them. I’ll be performing at the Boston magic Lab’s Ensemble show with three other phenomenal magicians. Hope to see you there.

Poe’s Magic is on the Road

I am very excited to be a part of the next LinkedIn Local event all focused around Mental Health. During this event you will hear from Nhu Nguyen, Associate Vice President & Creative Director at Fentonand Owner of Brand Nhu Creative as she shares her mental health journey, navigating life with anxiety and depression as a disabled AAPI immigrant with ADHD. Joined by Nhu will be Greg Hoplamazian, Associate Professor and Academic Director of the Emerging Media Program (M.A.) at Loyola University Maryland Department of Communication who will moderate the conversation, and share insights on mental health awareness with the role it plays in the communications industry. Together, Nhu and Greg will discuss what it means to confront your own mental health and take action in helping not only yourself but others as well.

All proceeds from this event will be donated to the National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI) - Metropolitan Baltimore Chapter.

On Saturday, January 7, 2023 from 4:00-7:00 I will be performing magic, mentalism and more to support the Plunge Sisters Hun Fundraiser. The sisters, Tressa Andrews and Stacey Hull, are raising money so they can participate in this years plunge. All proceeds for the plunge go to support the Maryland Special Olympics. I would participate in the January swimming in the Chesapeake but I’d get all of my cards wet so this is probably the next best thing.

Mid Atlantic Youth Ballet is once again proud to present our original, full-length adaptation of The Nutcracker featuring landmarks, icons and culture unique to Maryland. Join in the revelry of our Preakness Party (scene), defeat the Hon Rats at the Battle of Baltimore, have Faith in the Snowflakes, enjoy a stroll Downy Ocean City Boardwalk to see the Fortune Tellers, Bathing Beauties and scurry with our Little Crabs, Waltz with Black Eyed Susans and take flight with Poe's Raven.
